Is it possible to install oracle8.0.6 on hp-ux11i ?

We are now developing SAP R/3 with oracle 8.0.6 on hp-ux11.0
and, In near future we are plannig to introduce hp super-dome platform
with hp-ux 11i

But someone say that it is impossible to launch oracle under oracle8i version on hp-ux 11i.
I want to know what version of oracle is applicable on Hp Super-dome with hp-ux11i ?

to ask precisely,
Is it possible to install oracle8.0.6 or oracle7.3.4 on hp-ux11i ?

Hi

1. i know for sure that you can install oracle 8.0.6 on hp-ux 11i because The SG OPS for HP-UX 11i, support Oracle versions than Oracle 8.0.6 and 8.1.6 (and later).

2. oracle7.3.4 is not support for hp-ux 11i

Yes you can install and run 8.0.6 on hp-ux11i,
32 or 64 bit version.
If you plan on using 64 bit Oracle, your OS must also be 64 bit.

7.3.4 is available in 32 bit versjon only and it seems that its not certified:

yes 11i support oracle 8.0.6. oracle 8i and above works under only 11.0 & 11i. 8i can't run on HP-UX 10.2.
