Kernel parameters and Oracle Application Server

Hi;
I am in the process of rebuilding a L-3000, dual processor with 4 GB of memory to be an application server. It wil be running HPUX 11iv1 and Oracle Application Server 1.0.2.2.2 .
I am wondering what are the kernel setting for this? Or will the settings for an Oracle database suffice.
Thanks in advance.

Tom;
Thanks. It is for 10g but that ought to be close enough so that all is left is tweaking.
Thanks also to everyone who replied. I appreciate it.

Re: Kernel parameters and Oracle Application Server

Hi Michael,

Adding some info: nfile=3000 is low. I run Oracle Applications and needed at the time to increase this parameter to (15*NPROC+2048). maxuprc also gave me problems and I increase it to ((NPROC*9)/10).
