Largest SGA on HPUX11
Hello,
Can someone tell me the largest SGA that can be created on a HPUX 11
running 64 bit OS and 64 bit ORACLE. I know that the largest SGA size
may be limited by the shared memory parameter and physical memory
on the system. I would like to know the theoretical and practical limit.
Thank you SK.

Re: Largest SGA on HPUX11
The largest shared memory segment size on 11.0 64 bit is 1TB. Therefore, that's probably the limit of the SGA too, as that's just a shared memory segment. Obviously you must also be using a 64bit version of Oracle too.
