Memory utilzation differ in two server

Hi All,

We have two database server (Clustered).one node utilising 72%memory and other server 62%. database is same in both servers.kindly help why the differnce.

1. Are both servers having memory in same size ?
2. what is the percentage of system & user processes utilization?

Even both servers are having same DB, the utilization depends on your DB processes consume.

Can you clarify some things.

Did both servers running package in cluster?

Give output of below commands.

sar -b 5 10

sar -c 5 10

sar -v 5 10

kctune

vmstat -n 5 5

glance output's with below options
w- swap report
g-global process

This shoudl give us to identify bottlenecks.

this is normal due to different in Memory.

for Memory in the first system
Sys Mem : 10.3gb

for Memory in the second system
Sys Mem : 6.7gb
