Migrating Oracle 8161 32 bits to Oracle 8172 64bits on HP-UX 11.0

Hello,
Do you have any experience of problem using export/import method, that is full export of Oracle 8.1.6.1 Database, then full import in a Oracle 8.1.7.2 database ?
Any experience.

No problems. Simply do a full export/import and you will be fine.

If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Hi there.
Just one little thing.
If you work with NLS language different from US, you should set
the NLS_LANGUAGE=American_America.....

Alexander,
You noted that NLS language has to be set to American_America. We intend to migrate an American_America db to a system that has the install option set for Spanish and a different character set... NLS is not installed yet as we intendo to do it once the migration process is complete. That could mess things up, wouldn't it? What would you suggest?
