Oracle 10g IAS install requesting compiler patches

The oracle ias install procedure is requesting two patches for compilers.
PHSS_26792 ANSI C Compiler cumulative patch
PHSS_26793 +04/PBO Compiler cumulative patch

Has anyone else run into this problem ?
Is there a work around ?

The solution is to download and install the patches:

There is an entire list of required OS patches in the manual. Do not pass go, do not continue install until all patches are installed to the satisfaction of the 10g ias installer.

We have it in our sandbox and even the most minute detail not being correct stopped the installation process cold.

The good news is this is the first oracle application product with a relatively complete installation manual. Follow it precisely and you'll only have it as hard as we did.

I did try to load the patches. That's why I turned to the forum. I have no compiler on the system. Thanks.
