Oracle 11g Installation on a HP-UX Server
Hello,
I am attempting to download Oracle 11g Database on my HP Integrity BL870c i2 Server Blade. During the installation process I was propmted with an error saying that there is insufficient memory. Is there a way to reallocate memory from other directories in order to compensate for the lack of memory? If so, how can I go about accomplishing this. The download requires about 6 GB of memory .
Thanks.
P.S. This thread has been moved from server Automation Support and News Forum to HP-UX > databases. -HP Forum Moderator

Re: Oracle 11g Installation on a HP-UX Server
I assume you're talking about disk space and not memory.
What filesystems have space? Where is it trying to install?
What does "bdf -l" show?
