Oracle 8.1.6 installation

Hello!

I can't install 8.1.6 on HP-UX 11.0 -
get following error on linking phase :
Error in invoking target ioracle of makefile .../ins_rdbms.mk

Any ideas?

HI.
Did you install all patches necessary ?
Did you setup the Oracle environment, especially the SHLIB_PATH and the LD_LIBRARY_PATH ?
Patch PHSSS_22478
Have you checked your kernel params ?
shmmax 1610612736 1610612736
Check the Install and Upgrade guide on Oracle Metalink.

Increase maxdsiz to 0x40000000 (hex) , this will help.

Thank you! I increased maxdsiz, now all is OK.
And, certanly, I'll install patches for production system :)
