Hi,
In addition to above replies, I would like to look at the oracle first, could you upload BSTAT/ESTAT or STATSPACK files?
Regards

Re: Oracle 8.1.7.0 bad performances over 11.i. Why?
Hi,
We had the same problem (hp-ux 11i 64Bits), the performance laked into a dramatic situation, (all was fine, the optimized showed us good plans, the server was fine ...), we just had to aply the Oracle patchset: 8.1.7.3 and, finaly we found a patch : p2245790_8173_HP64.zip from metalink (metalink.oracle.com) that mended this situation. Now, the performance is really good.
(Excuse my english, i??m spanish)
