Oracle 8.1.7 installation on hp-ux 11.11

Is there any prerequesite patches to apply before installing Oracle 8.1.7 (64bytes) ?
Which are the known bugs which I could meet?

I wanted to know if there were any HP-UX 11i patches to apply in precondition to installations of Oracle 8.1.7.

I already carried out the installation of a 8.1.7.4 on HP-UX 11.00 but it is the first time on 11i.

I prefer to inform me before launching installations rather than to spend the hours with the very reactive support Oracle ;-))).

Hi Lionel,

As Stefen given some patches related to 817 on 11i. check whether the patches are installed or not, if not install them and start installation of Oracle 8.1.7.

You should be safe with the latest patch bundle and as I stated in this thread:

..look into Oracles bug: BUG:2444951
if having raw datafiles larger than 4GB as the database wouldn't start if thats the case.
