Exam Cram are the best books I have seen. I used them to get certified from 7.3 thru 8i.

I'm not sure how it works now but when i was getting certified for 7.3.4 if you knew everything in the training manual you knew almost everything on the test , almost to the point that certification felt like a ploy to sell education. But the time you take learing the training material is usually well spent.
