Oracle on HP Unix (Itanium platform)

Dear All,

 

We have SAP. Database is Oracle 10g on HP-UX 11.31.

 

HP Unix is on itanium platform.

 

I go thru the belo link

Will it create any oracle support related problem in future for existing customer? Will it advisable to procure itanium based server for oracle database?

You will find on the oracle site that they provide support approximately for the next 7 years - this is usually more than a computer has to life.
