Oracle upgrade from 8.0.6 to 8i V2 or V3
Can some body share some information with us experience while upgrading oracle from 8.0.6 or 8i (HPUX 11.X) capacity planning point of view.
As we would like to know what is extra CPU and memory usage we are looking here. Any document or guide line will be great help.
Thanks,
SST

Re: Oracle upgrade from 8.0.6 to 8i V2 or V3
Thanks Ian for your responce. I was glancing through these OTN docs but looks like every body talks about disk requirements, I was looking at the new components like JRE and some other stuff is increasing in newer versions, so that should increase the need of system resources, trying to figure out how much or some experience or some data some body might have collected.
Thanks,
SST

Hi there. Sorry for breaking into this prior to my message. Saying thank you is very kind and much appreciated, but the correct way would be to assign Ian the points.
