Oracle817 install error

At the end of install procedure,there was a error aroused.
Error in invoking target install of makefile /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/rdbms.lib/ins_rdbms.mk
Could anyone tell me how to solve it?

Hi

Check $ORACLE_HOME/install/make.log for more errors.

Have had similar linking errors du to the maxdsiz parameter. Increase maxdsiz to at least 256M and relink the product:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/relink all

What is your LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Do you have $ORACLE_HOME/lib/

Also include $ORACLE_HOME/lib64 in your library path.

check your make_log file for messages.

check for all the recommended OS patches .

Also check the kernel parameters whether they are tuned according to the installation document.
what is the size of your maxdsiz and maxdsiz_64 parameters.
