Process diagmond
I have the "diagmond" process that suddenly take 90% of CPU and blocked all users.
Can someone tell me what this process do and what can be the reasons of this event.
How to stop it and what can be consequences.
Thanks.

Re: Process diagmond
You can stop the diagnostics
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
to see the improvement in the system performance

Re: Process diagmond
i had the same problem and applied patch PHSS_28250 and it is now solved.
This includes the fixes for both diagmond memory leak and excessive CPU usage by diagmond.
hope this helps!
Best Regards

Re: Process diagmond
Although "/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop " will stop it, it is not advisable to do so.
Please apply the necessary patch.

Re: Process diagmond
Probably STM must be patched properly to resolve the diagmond CPU usage.
