RAC requiremnts on HP UX v3

Dear Gurus ,

We are going RAC ,the server is alredy running production,SG 11.18.whad other thing apart from SGeRac should be planned , CFS or ASM .
please provide link to relevant docs.Performance comparison b/w them.
We intend to test this first at some Dr/test systems.

V3 rx6600.

to use oracle RAC you either need CFS, ASM or Shared LVM. You need to see what your storage strategy will be for your rac instance.

I am pretty sure the HP preferred method is CFS and most of the people I work with are implementing it with CFS.

Our ServiceGuard II course that covers RAC configures it with CFS.

If you are going to use RAC with ASM, the minimum requirement is Base OE. You can use Oracle Clusterware (included with RAC) instead of HP Serviceguard.
