Raw LV of shared VG using by Oracle RAC use mirroring or striping

The raw LVs belong to a shared VG managed by SGeRAC.

 Is this recommanded to mirroring or/and striping the raw LVs?

And is there any issue under this way?

Which external storage you are connected, don't you have redundant feature available in storage lun level
