Reliable Transaction Router

Hi,
Have any of you worked on RTR (Reliable Transaction Router)?? ... what is it all about?. I need more inputs on integrating RTR with HP-UX, Oracle and MC Service Guard.

Thanks,
Karthik S S

Re: Reliable Transaction Router

RTR was originally developped by Digital for VMS, ported to many OS's. (I almost joined for the RTR group 10 years ago when they were in Zurich... but had to decline :-)

When I check the HP web site, I see OpenVMS, Tru64, Solaris, Windows and Linux (front end only), but no HPUX. I believe there was a 3.2 version for HP-UX 10.20. I asked the RTR Product Business Manager for clarification and will post back here.

Anyway... you did check the HP website, putting RTR in the search string no? It points to (amongst others):
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/software/ntenterprise/rtr/new_to_rtr.html

hth,
Hein.
