Replicating MYSQL DB on AIX to UX

Hi Guru's
we are planing to replicate a mysql server(Community ver) currently running on a IBM-AIX to HP-UX. Does any one have this kind of heterogeneous replication of mysql?
Any problems encounted due to 2 mysql servers on different OS?
Any advices?
