What is SD Service Event?
Where they be instaled?: In client machines? or in a server?
Instalation guide does not explain it.
I need to receive a pop-up messaje when a new service call is created.
Solved! Go to Solution.

It is restarted as follows:
/sbin/init.d/swagentd -r
Its installed automatically with the OS.

SolutionThe words Service, call, pop-up message etc., tell me that you are talking about "Service Desk" a product in Openview family.
When I was administering Openview before, we thought of using it. You can get the documentation from the openview site.

If you talk about the SW so it's on every
hpux machine and it's control the software
on the machine (install, remove, give option to other to install, check the software, etc.)

Re: SD agent, SD Service Event
If it's not the SW and you talk about integration between hp and microsoft so
it's integration between OpenView Operations
from HP and the microsoft Operation Mngr.
In the end you recive popup msgs.
Agent for recive the msgs.
Service is for the integration.

Re: SD agent, SD Service Event
I am talking about Open View Service Desk, but I put the message in the wrong forum.
Please, again, I'm sorry.
