Uneven load sharing by CPU's on N-class server....

Hi,
For last 15 days or so, we are facing a very strange problem. We have two N-class servers. Both are running the same application and have same hardware configuration. On one of the server, only one CPU is taking maximum load. Following is the o/p of the "top".
System: IBBS1 Mon Feb 12 19:17:11 2001
Load averages: 5.75, 5.57, 4.92
1950 processes: 1940 sleeping, 10 running
Cpu states:
CPU LOAD USER NICE SYS IDLE BLOCK SWAIT INTR SSYS
0 16.91 41.6% 0.0% 58.4% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%
1 2.39 9.7% 0.0% 38.1% 52.2% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%

3 1.85 16.8% 0.0% 27.4% 55.8% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%

Can somebody help me regarding the same.

Hi,

Glance or top allows you to identify the processes that are running on a specific CPU. In this case, check out the processes on CPU 0 and pin-point the one with the heaviest CPU usage.

This is especially easy with glance because glance allows you to sort by individual columns the entire process list.
