error in hpux 10.20
hi,
I have problem with HP-UX 10.20 installed in hp 9000server and running oracle database as well. last week my server unix hardisk faild and i was trying to restore the system, but i faild to do so. I have tried like this. i installed hp-ux 10.20 and restored the unix files and oracle files from back tap. after restore i was restarting the server i getting this msgs.
INIT: Command is respawning too rapidily
will try again 5 minites
check for possible errors
ID:Cons "/usr/sbin/getty consol console # system console"
Then the system will stay as it is and it will not boot.
pls help me soon.

Hi,
check under /etc/rc.config.d. Are there fastidious executables? If yes then delete or move them. There MUST be only configuration files.
Launch:
#for i in /etc/rc.config.d/*
do
echo $i
. $i
done
It should help you to troubleshooting the problem.
