mysql, just like Oracle will work in a Service Guard cluster. Many applications will work in a n SG Cluster. Its just a matter of how much work it takes.

From the mysql perpective everything is the same, its just running on disk that is shared by two machines.

If any one is interested what I found:
MySQL Cluster was announced at the 2004 MySQL Users Conference and Expo. Source code is available in the MySQL 4.1 BitKeeper repository. Commercial (binary) availability is expected in Q3 2004.
