omniback II and Oracle APPS
We have installed Omniback II a.03.00 on HPux 11.0 as per installation guide. On restarting of Oracle APPS, the APPS concurrent manager stops working.
Has anybody successfully installed the above product combination?

Re: omniback II and Oracle APPS
We upgraded from OB 2.5 -> 3.1 and have Oracle concurrent managers (2 instances) running on the same box. Just a thought ... perhaps there is a conflict with the port numbers being used?

Re: omniback II and Oracle APPS
Sorry, this may sound a dumb question. Do you bring down the ConcMgr before using OmniBack ? That should be done in the first place. Please check the valid .mgr file in your out-directory. That should give a hint, what is going on. If that is ok, please check the directory /tmp/.oracle, where all the sockets will be placed. Before starting database and APPS this directory should be empty.
