ora-03113: end-of-file on communication channel.

hi,
actually, i have some instances release 8.1.7 installed in unix hp 11. after to shutdown these all instances yesterday , now, when i want to startup up on instance, for example using the command line svrmgrl, before to use the connect internal, i receive the error message follow:
ora-03113: end-of-file on communication channel.

please, anybody can help me for to resolve this problem ?.

do u want to check if the file system which contains your alert.log is full?

the solution provided by Oracle Metalink:

Because you are unable to create a new trace file, you need to do one of the following:

* Increase the kernel parameter to allow more files to be opened concurrently.
* Remove existing trace files from bdump, udump, and cdump to free up space on the filesystem.

There are plenty of possibilities.
Are these instances new ones, did you create a new one, did you change kernel parameters ?
