I see very little mention on support for this version?
Is it still supported? Should I upgrade to 10.2?
What would be the benefits of this?
We have always been on top of critical patches that need to be installed, and this is not tied down to an specific version because of an application.
I always thought oracle had a version support matrix, but I can not seem to find it.

Re: oracle 10.1.0.3 support?
Oracle may recommend a different patch level, the patch level being the last digit in the version number.
Upgrade to 10.2? Many good reasons to go there, including the fact that Oracle support will last longer than on your current version.
Before planning an upgrade however you need to check the compatability of all your applications.
The biggest problem I had with third party apps was they were very slow to support new Oracle versions and we wanted to only run one version of Oracle on our systems.

Re: oracle 10.1.0.3 support?
Your version of oracle 10.1.0.3 is 10gR1
the latest one on HP-UX is 10gR2 (10.2.0.2)
according to Oracle support.By the end of this month or early next month the new version 10.2.0.3 will be out for HP-UX
Oracle always recommend to upgrade to 10gR2 ,it is more stable and more bug fixed in this version and some new features for Oracle Automatic Storage Management.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Tom
