oracle monitor tool
We are looking for some oracle monitor tool in windows.
Here are some tools I have heard of:
Embarcadero (don't know what the tool is called specifically)
Confio "Ignite"
Quest "Spotlight on Oracle" (what about "Foglight") - definitely check this out
Oracle "Enterprise Manager Grid Control"
I know we want to get the existing WhatsUpGold product to actively ping the server and send an immediate SMS Text or phone when Oracle doesn't respond.
What are your recommendations?
Thanks,
Jane

Re: oracle monitor tool
They even gave nme an id so that I can "compare" things it sees with what I see at the O/S level.
Vspinfo monitors MySQL - you might be able to modify it...
