Re: pat_set_hardfail_enable
Paul,
You need to install firmware patch PHSS_25105 which should take care of these messages.
Best Regards,
Eric

Re: pat_set_hardfail_enable
sorry for not getting back to this.
I have PHSS_25685 and was still getting this error. Yesterday I changed out the system board and the errors have gone away so far :)
Warning: 02/01/24 - This Non-Critical Warning has been issued by HP.
- PHSS_25105 fails to update the system firmware correctly
when installed. The /usr/conf/L1000srvrflash utility
provided in the patch is corrupt, which results in the
following error during the system reboot when the patch
is installed:
ISL booting hpux srvrflash
Boot
: disk(0/0/1/1.2.0.0.0.0.0;0)srvrflash
Exec failed: Exec format error
- The behavior is corrected in PHSS_25685, which is released.
- Since the behavior does not have a negative effect on the
system, it simply does not update the system firmware,
it is not necessary to remove PHSS_25105 from systems on
which it is installed. HP recommends using PHSS_25685
instead of PHSS_25105 to update the system firmware on
L1000 and L2000 systems.
