problem monitoring Oracle 9.0.1 using SNMP
I'm trying to monitor an Oracle 9.0.1 instance using Network Node Manager (using SNMP).
Oracle server is Linux RedHat 7.1.
I configured the master agent and Oracle intelligent agent on the linux server.
I can get all MIB variables locally (O.S. related on port 1161, and both O.S. and Oracle on 161) using snmpwalk command, but remotely I can olny get snmp reply on port 1161, without any Oracle information.
My CONFIG.master is:
MANAGER 172.30.63.100
SEND ALL TRAPS
COMMUNITY public
ALLOW GET OPERATIONS
USE NO ENCRYPTION
MEMBERS 172.30.63.100,localhost,172.30.63.218
where 172.30.63.100 is NNM server and 172.30.63.218 is the Oracle server.
I have the same problem even if I delete the "MEMBERS" line.
Any suggestion?
Thanx,
Luca
