restore after rm

Hi,

I delete a file by rm command and don't have
any backup...There is any way to restore the file ?

Or can you reconstitute it if it is a system configuration file?

Hi:

Sorry, Unix doesn't have the old "recycle bin" [unless you write your own mechanism]. Backups are worthless until you need them [as in now...].

You cannot recover after you deleted a file , but you can resotre if you ahve backups.
