sendmail

Hi Gurus,

I am using sendmail to route my oracle alerts to my mail .. but it always calls for mail being send by oracleuser@servername.com ...is there any way to format it so that it will say that being send by akthar@xxxx.com ?? basically I want to know the correct sendmail syntax to include "from" field

you can use the -F option of the sendmail

like

#sendmail -F akhtar@yahoo.com
