does anyone know if HP has dropped support for CDE?

As far as I know HP is still supportin CDE since it is still bundled with the OS.

I had heard at one point that they were going to go to the Gnome interface, but I don't think the switch has been made yet.

Adding to the question, one more doubt.

Long before, I heard that Sun is also going to drop CDE for GNOME. Anyone know about that status?

The enthusiasm for Gnome seems to have waned somewhat. The last I heard, HP has backed off from any plans of abandoning CDE. I can't find the question where I heard that at this moment, but here's where I originally questioned HP's direction:

You still can have support for it.
