vxBench for HPUX? Filesystem Benchmarking tools for HPUX?

Anyone inquired from Veritas yet if there is a version for HPUX? The source got for Solaris won;t compile on HP/UX -- complaining of its inability to find lthread.h..

Also, aside from bonnie and iozone, are there any recommended disk benchmarking tools out there?

Well, as HP do a training course for vxbench I imagine it is available!

Hi,

I suppose that Online JFS (VERITAS File System???) it is what you need here (PN B3929CA that it has a "per processors" license (and pricing) model).

Above this, it is a different product: VERITAS Volume Manager.
The "base version" it is already included in HP-UX 11i version starting with September 2002.
"Extended" versions for this software could be:
"Standard version" (PN B9116AA or VEI420XA, both having a "tier-based" licensing (and pricing) model: tier 1 for rp54xx servers for example))
or "Extended version" (PN VEI430XA, with some tier-base model)

I hope this helps,
f.

But we are using only the base VxVM that comes with 11i but with oJFS (which is exactly VxFS, right?).

Can we approach Veritas for support for anything Veritas on an HPUX system -- ie. oJFS and the base VxVM?
