where can I find JDK 1.4?

anyone know where I can get my hands on JDK 1.4.* ?

in all my searches it always leads me back to SDK, and our DBA's dont want that, they are insistant on getting JDK 1.4.1.05 or higher.

Re: where can I find JDK 1.4?

I should add, since I wasn't sure which platform you needed. Theres a link on the right for Itanium and PA-RISC. Once you click on either of those. It shows you the different JRE's and SDKS.

I didn't mean to hit submit so early

Re: where can I find JDK 1.4?

I may be blind, but all I see on that page is SDK & RTE...we tried that, and they said that isnt it, it is JDK (java developers kit) that they need

Hi,

Check:

SDK is software dev kit. If you install it the can install Oracle!

Ken,

Forgive me for being naive, but I thought SDK was JDK. If not, I wish someone could explain the difference for me.

Re: where can I find JDK 1.4?

I beleive there is nothing like JDK 1.4 in business.

Only available is SDK in HP site and J2SE, J2EE on Sun.

I think SDK should work for you .

What is they are missing from the SDK? I have always been under the impression that SDK=JDK.
