2012i sharing volume for vm images - weirdness?

Hi,

Issue similar to thread http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1248080

I have a c3000 w/ 6 BL460c blades in it, all blades running W2K8 Core. 4 NICs, 2 for network, 2 for iSCSI. All blades can see the volume that I created for the hyper-v guest images but changes by one server are not reflected on other servers. For example, if I copy a .vhd from a "gold" folder to the vhd folder, I can see that the copy was successful on the server that I initiated the copy on but not the others until they are rebooted.

Maybe a different situation than above ref thread but I was led to believe that this was doable - what's the point of having SAN storage for vm's if there is going to be conflicts - any thoughts?

Thanks...

SAN = provides data blocks, but does not know what a file is. Complaints to Microsoft, please, for not providing a shared fileystem ;-)
