6400 series controller question

Hello,

We have been seeing a number of 6400 series controllers with batteries that fail or do not charge correctly. In a couple of cases a firm ware upgrade to version 2.48 will fix the problem but in several cases it will not. All of the effected controllers have the “Tundra” chipset on them. All replacement controllers from HP have an “IBM” chip set on them. Is there a known issue with the “Tundra” chip set on the 6400 series controller?
