A5856A 4si RAID 4 port card with dead battery

We have a 4si RAID card with a dead battery. Can anyone give me the info on how to replace the battery? HP is saying I have to replace the card but I don't see how I can throw away a perfectly good card when the battery looks replacable. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Voltage, where to buy, etc...

Craig,

The user manual states to contact HP if you need to replace a battery. However this component is not user replaceable, that is why you will have to replace the card. You do not have it under warranty I suppose?
