Hi,
We have a HP VA 7100 and we want to add 6 new disks. I was wandering, do I have to add the disks one at the time and wait a while before I add the next? Or can I add them all together?

Solution
Jos,
you do not have to wait until the first is re-formatted until you add the second, third etc.
Run armdsp -a and make sure your VA has no Warning state and also do this at off-peak times.
The LEDs should start flashing on the disk, but I prefer to add only one first, then check armdsp -a (or similar) to see the disk is being included/formated before I go on.
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: Add several disk to a HP VA 7100
There can be added more then one disk at the time.
