Adding a 2nd disk to a DL360 that only has one

We have a DL360 running Linux that only has a single disk on it. We'd like to add a disk to this machine and make it RAID 1. Can I do this without doing an O/S reinstall?

If in fact the drive that you have IS attached to the RAID controller as a RAID0 currently, then yes. Just add the 2nd disk. While online, the controller will prompt you for what to do with the drive.

Thank you for the response. Just so I fully understand, my thinking is the following:

1. Power down
2. Plug in new disk
3. Power on

And the controller BIOS will prompt me for actions on the new disk. Is that correct?

Thanks again.
