Adding disk to raid 5 array on DL380 with smart array 6i

Can i add 2 disks to a 3 disk array without any downtime or any data loss??

Yes, assuming you have the available hdd slots to use.

Hi Dominic,
After you have completed the "Expand" operation by adding the 2 physical drives to the existing array you should then be able to "Extend" the logical drive to use the additional space in the array. (Assuming you currently have an array containing 3 physical drives and a single RAID5 logical drive presented.
