Adding disks to RAID-5
I have a ML530 G2 with a SA 6400 controller that I would like to add additional storage to. The logical disk I want to increase is a basic disk.
I know I have to expand and extend the array in ACU. Do I have to convert to a dynamic disk to claim the space afterward? I plan on adding 3 72gb drives to the existing RAID-5 array, approximately how long will this take with rebuild priority set to high?

Re: Adding disks to RAID-5
HI Arlo,
>Do I have to convert to a dynamic disk to claim the space afterward? NO
>how long will this take with rebuild priority set to high? 10-15/GB ... less if there is a BBWC.
Regards.
