Adding disks to VA7100 and HP-UX

I will be adding several disks of the same type and size as the existing to an HP VA7100 attached via fiber to our HP-UX server. Once the disks are plugged into the array is there anything else to do to configure them?

Just plug them in. With autoformat and autoinclude configured, they will format for ~30 min and then you have more capacity. Now you can create new LUNs with commandview SDM.
