All my disk are in FAIL status
Hi!
I have a LC 3 server with 4 disk
2 x 9gb -> RAID 1
2 x 18gb -> RAID 1
The server are running well until a wirte error appears. We down the server a we go to HP Netraid config. We see:
DISK 0 FAIL (9GB)
DISK 1 ON-LINE (9GB)
DISK 3 ON-LINE (18GB)
DISK 4 ON-LINE (18GB)
With the server powered off, we have reinserted the disk 0... and we have now all the DISK in "FAIL"...
Is possible that we have a RAID card problem and the disk are ok?
what can we do?
regards,

Re: All my disk are in FAIL status
Hi,
I would agree with your analysis.
It is quite unlikely that all your disks went down at the same time. The common element on your system is the RAID card.
Try replacing the card and restarting.
You could try to switch off RAID and start, but this may lead to data inconsistencies down the line.
