Array Diagnostic Utility for Windows?

Is there a version of the command line program hpaducli for Windows?

A customer is running an HP Proliant Smart Array 6400 on a Dell box and does not seem to have any control or diagnostic software installed.

I need a CLI to interrogate the hardware status to feed into OpenView.

Hi David,

You can also install the ADU for windows Graphical interface and then collect the ADU report. Also I check I don`t see any download file for ADU CLI for windows. I do see for Linux but not for windows.
I think you should be able to run ADU Graphical one and take the report.

When you install ADU, it automatically installs ADUCLI. Locate the path to the ADU directory and you will find the executible.

Re: Array Diagnostic Utility for Windows?

hey John thats cool, I never noticed that its really good when the ADU graphical doesn`t work.

just give hpaducli /r /f and you can gather the entire report.
/r -> for RIS info.

Cheers

Re: Array Diagnostic Utility for Windows?

Thanks guys - I did eventually find the ADU stuff and installed it on the Dell box, which produced hpaducli.exe

Unfortunately there are no parameters (like you get with Dell's omreport.exe), so what you get is a huge report. I will have to write a parser unless anyone else has one..
