Re: Array expand with DL360
Hi,
I think, it should be possible. But for your own safety read the ACU manual about extending logical drives here:
http://wwss1pro.compaq.com/support/reference_library/viewdocument.asp?countrycode=1000&prodid=117&source=239449-004.xml&dt=264&docid=14346
What os/release are you running on that machine?
Michael

Re: Array expand with DL360
Hi Sascha
You need to run the array controller software & remove the hot spare from the array then expand the array.. Depending on how important your data is .. I wouldnt do it myself. Why not just add a new drive ??
regards

Hi,
John has a point. You would not only take away the safety with the spare, but also increase the risk of failure for raid5 by adding another disk.
