Backup of a RAID1 mirror disk
How can i make a short backup from one of both mirror disks in my 9GB logical drive in the array A? I only sloved to rebuild a current running disk to an older. But if i like to have a short backup, i like to plug out on of the disks to have a current backup of the server. But everytime i do that, i don't arrive to boot later from this disk only? What do i wrong? Isn't there a possibilety to do that? On the same controler are tree 36GB disks in RAID5 mode. So total 5 disks (2 R1 / 3 R5). Can anyone help me?
