Battery Backed Write Cache module installed but battery count is still zero
We have an HP ProLiant DL360 G5 server with a p400i raid controller and after noticing the poor write performance we purchased a BBWC module and installed it.
For some reason the raid array configuration utility still shows a battery count of 0.
During POST the machine says that the module is present though.
One way or the other, I still cannot adjust the read/write cache ratio. Is there something we need to do to turn the module on or activate it somehow?
Thanks in advance for your help.
