Best practices EVA 4000 with Oracle RAC on Linux

Where can I find some documentation, white papers, best practices on how to configure an EVA 4000 for an Oracle RAC on Linux environment ?

Or can anyone give me the recommendations ?

You should start with the best practices for the EVA itself, available at the EVA documentation site.

In this forum, there are severals threads about howto configure disk groups and vdisks in general.

Try using google to search, it will give your more results, like:

Hi Bruno,

Depending on the performance you can choose between VRAID1 and VRAID5. We installed it on an EVA3000 an HPUX , in our case everything is VRAID5.

But I can give you one good advise, make your LUNS great enough from the beginning and provide enough space from your tablespace becaus adding extra diskspace in a RAC cluster is a more complex job then on a standalone database
