Burning Test on Disk System 2405
Hi All,
I just would like know is any doucment can tell me how to do burning Test on DS2405. or Just power on the Disk System and let it run 24-48 hours.

I would power up the system, install an OS on it, including all disks.
Then put in some jobs from a working system and a cron schedule. If you have online JFS take the time to defragment all disks.
Run 48 hours and check itrc the next morning.
It will be burned quite nicely by then.
I also think these servers are burned at the factory. Could be wrong about that.

Install OnlineDiag and use the MSTM disk exercise tool. You can select either a read only or read-write test. The length of disk test can be set at Options->Tool Options->Exercise. Hope this helps.
