We need to restore from S-VOL -- meaning S-VOL's data need to be preoapaged in reverese to P-VOL. Our pairsplit command is:
pairresync -g BKP_sapdg -IM112 -c 15
Would the syntax to resynch from S-VOL be:
pairresync -g BKP_sapdg -restore -IM112
Our XP12K array is such that we do not swap P-VOL with S-VOL during a restore so it will be a reynsch back to P-VOL.
TIA!
pairresync -g BKP_sapdg -IM112 -c 15

Looks fine to me - although I can't remember what the "-IM112" option is for... (manual for RM XP is not currently available in the Business Support Centre - oh how much I'm looking forward to docs.hp.com vanishing into this mess...)

Re: BusinessCopy Restore from S-VOL
Dunc,
We have a slightly different BCOPY environment. Our Prod and test servers do not have any RM-XP, horcm configuration. We have a 3rd server that acts as BCOPY processor. On said server - we have horcm files defined for each PAIR or PAIR-hierarchy.
We just need the exact syntax.
Our paircreate syntax for said PAIR is:
paircreate -g BKP1_sapdg -IM112
The IM112 replaces the HORCM environmentals.
